So what have you guys been watching lately?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

I saw Caprica. Liked it.

Did anyone notice the resemblance between the actory who plays Daniel Graystone and:

Love her recipes, love her.

I've seen her a few times while channel surfing. She's quite a beauty. I sometimes watch Anthony Bourdain's show too when it's on and I have nothing else to do. I heard he was working on some kind of animated series.

And yeah, Caprica should be awesome with Jane Espenson doing some of the writing and it's the prequel to one of the best sci fi shows ever. I really need to watch that pilot

One show I wish I could be watching now is Pushing Daisies. Too bad it was cancelled. Also forgot to mention Family Guy in my last post, which I watch a lot. Stewie and Brian really make that show worth watching. I watch a lot of stand up comedy too

I never could get too much into Boosh, but Garth Marenghi's Darkplace which is made by the same people is an incredibly good show.

Caprica's fate has been sealed. It's just a speck in BSG's shadow.

Anyway bumped this up to express my satisfaction at Heroes and Law & Order's cancellations, as I got fed up by both.

24.

Despite the frequent cheese and a few less-than-stellar seasons, I've been a big fan of 24 ever since it debuted. I usually watch it in chucks of about 6-8 episodes at a time, and plan to be caught up on this season in time for the series finale next week. In my opinion, this season (8) has been quite good and it seems that the series is going out on a high note. That said, I thought that the show had run its course a few seasons ago and am genuinely surprised @ how strong this season has turned out. I'm looking forward to the eventual film(s), as Sutherland is usually even more fun to watch on the big screen.

Heroes has been dead for ages, this just makes it official. God I hate that show. Don't know why it took so long to pull the plug

I never watched 24, I have certain polticial issues with it. However, the creator of 24 worked on the La Femme Nikita tv series. I don't know if anyone here is familiar with it, but that was a great show

Right now, I'm watching Chuck, Fringe, Lost, V, Monday Night Raw, WWE Smackdown and Doctor Who

Shows I'd like to watch if I ever get the time(a.k.a. shows that look good but aren't must see viewing):
Caprica, Glee, Burn Notice(I'm quite a few episodes behind),Supernatural and Smallville. And as someone who hasn't watched anime is years, I heard there was a fourth season of Slayers that has some episodes on youtube. Gonna check that out, I miss Lina Inverse and the gang. That's one of those old, classic anime series

Yea Heroes needed to go after Season 1. But after watching that all the way through and getting started in season 2, I just had to keep watching thinking it'd get better. But it didn't, it just got worse and worse. There was the small speck of potential in episodes here and there, but it never followed through with it. The whole carnival thing seemed like it could've been interesting, but it was like the writers had no idea where it was going. The same was probably true for season 1 as well, with them making things up as they went along, but they got lucky.

Still watching Monster, and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood (one of the greatest shows I've ever seen so far). I noticed that Kekkaishi is premiering on Adult Swim on the 29th, I might start watching that as well.
