For Atlanta folks the Mexican place I go to often is Happy Burrito at Peachtree Industrial and Medlock Bridge - it is behind the shooting range. My other favorite Mexican place is Monterrey #5:aka Northlake it is on Lavista rd. I live in Tucker but on Buford Hwy near Shallowford there is a place called El Torta de Mexicana and one of my friends said it blew his mind more than the Cuban sandwich place we found. And ofcourse if you want something with fried chicken - El Pollo Loco at Clairmont and Buford Hwy. Ok Im done, I am not going to derail the topic much longer.
Another Tucker inhabitant eh? I'm right off Chamblee-Tucker road. Buford Highway has the best of everything... have you tried Taco Veloz? Greasy Heaven.
If you're into Vietnamese food at all try a Bahn Mi sandwich at the one shop in "Asian Square" off Buford Highway (i have no idea how to pronounce the name of the Restaurant but you'll see it!). Pork preferred!

Dammit, now I want bahn mi for lunch. I don't know of any places close by that have them. closest I'm sure of is 25 minutes away.
Bhan Mi eh, Ill give it a try in the future - Thanks. Im not a big Vietnamese fan, more of a Korean/Japanese fan, but I am willing to give most any food a go. Hmm. Now I am hungry again.
Alright thats it, some time in the future - Atlanta Racketboy Meetup at a restaurant. I know there are six or seven of us on here.

Bahn mi are sandwiches. Having cucumber and cilantro on it just give it a different slant than most sandwiches.

When I'm in the mood for Vietnamese it's all about the Pho. Nothing better on a chilly day, or when you have a cold.

Just get a P14 at Saigon Cafe. You can't go wrong with just noodles and steak.
