It wouldn't matter if it was since the case is also red.
Where's my chippy? There's my chippy.

Well I finally got around to purchasing this game and it seems... really easy. I'm on the 7th world after about 2 days and I've accumulated over 90 lives.
One thing I have to say though, I love it that I can see elements from pretty much every 2D Mario game to date, and it seems that only the best ones were taken from previous games.
However, I'm finally having some people over tonight to check out the multiplayer. I've heard that this both makes the game much harder and much more fun, so we'll see.

Re: New Super Mario Brothers Wii
On Thanksgiving I played for five hours with my younger brother and some friends. We laughed so hard that I had to pause the game for a time because my sides hurt so much. The game is fairly easy by yourself, but playing it 4 player is both frustrating and amazing. Ive had just as much, if not more, fun with it than Borderlands and Echoes of Time - which were my two other favorite games of this year.

Just wait to see what happens when you get 99 lives!Dylan wrote:Well I finally got around to purchasing this game and it seems... really easy. I'm on the 7th world after about 2 days and I've accumulated over 90 lives.
I found the game to be a little on the easy side myself. But after you beat it and have to go back through all the levels to get the gold coins that unlock levels in world 9, you might not have the same exact opinion.

Good to hear, multiplayer was pretty much the reason I bought this game.fastbilly1 wrote:On Thanksgiving I played for five hours with my younger brother and some friends. Oh great, let me guess: it resets?Ziggy587 wrote:Just wait to see what happens when you get 99 lives!
Now that's good news. I was hoping those coins were useful for something other than buying hints.Ziggy587 wrote:I found the game to be a little on the easy side myself. Yeah, getting all the gold coins in world 1 unlocks the first level in world 9, world 2 unlocks second level, and so on. And, at least compared to the rest of the game, those levels are HARD.
And don't worry, it doesn't reset. You get a happy surprise.

Well, party's finally over and the game pretty much met my expectations. I'm still looking forward to playing it with 4 people in the future (only 3 tonight).
Re: New Super Mario Brothers Wii
Coin battle is pretty fun, too. I think it'd be even funner with 3 or 4 players.
