WHAT THE FUCK

I leave the fucking forums for a few weeks due to moving, (I've barely got the internet at my new house and won't have it for a few weeks. I'm currently writing this out on my iphone for fucks sake) and this fucking happens? I mean what the fuck.

I'm just completely fucking shocked and can't believe you're really going, from the chats we've had over steam I feel I got to know you on a more personal level than a lot of the other members on here. It may be sad or whatever but I actually consider you a real friend and I just hope we'll keep in touch on steam.

I know that we never saw eye to eye at first, but I really enjoyed our arguments, It felt good to just vent at somebody and it was nice to have your opinion level me out on more than one occasion. You were a valued member of the community and I never thought you moderated with a heavy hand, you were always fair. Without you I don't think this community will be the same, you were the strict but fair father figure on here and you always put people in their place when they started acting up. If it wasn't for you I wouldn't even be a mod on here.

What the fuck dude.

Yeah I know, moving sucks. About the only thing I can do here is go on racketboy. The only device that has an internet connection is my iphone. I'm not getting a phone line until next week, and it might be another week before I get it activated for broadband. It totally fucking sucks. My new house is fucking sweet though so that's a good thing I guess.

I can tell you these forums just won't be the same without you here, not that you posted much in the last couple of weeks, and neither have I but I've explained the reasons above. Plus a lack of threads I've been interested in posting in has factored in as well. Still dude, I'm gonna miss you man. *wipes tear*

Man, I've never seen anyone use the f-bomb that many times in one post. I mean seriously, WTF man!?

Still, I think it was unaviodable that the forums here would deteriorate eventually. I mean, any forum that is popular has this problem. I was with SarcasticGamer.com from nearly the beginning, and it REALLY went downhill after about a year and a half. It's not even worth going there anymore. I just hope this place doesn't fall as hard as they did.

Wow, I'll be sad to see you go. I mean I find some of your attitudes to things infuriating but I love your bluntness and enjoyed watching you shoot people down.

Without you and Ducts long rambling posts I'm not sure I'll be sticking around for much longer. I dont recognise most of the people on here anymore and rarely feel the need to post.

We're sitting at over 5 years, been featured on Digg a bazillion times, featured in a couple of mags and such and I'm still quite impressed with out the place holds up.

Sure I wish we had some deeper conversations, but it's quite challenging to build that up.
Plus, it's hard to walk a fine balance between deep conversation and elitism.
I've seen a few other forums (not to name names) that have a large problem with elitism. Sure they don't have GameFAQs syndrome, but they are the least welcoming places out there and if you say the wrong thing to the wrong person, you're insta-banned.

Even when I joined all the threads had interesting ideas, or discussions.
Now they are just someone selling something or the same announcement
announced three times :x
Sure I wish we had some deeper conversations
Me too... The few I was in were so much fun! :)

It's very true, I know quite a lot of forums like that.
