Re: What is your favourite beverage...?
Im an avid fan of Coke products (being from Atlanta and all). But apart from those, water, coffee and all kinds of tea are preferred. In any given day I drink 200-400 oz of water alone (6-11 liters) usually to drown out the soda and coffee.
Now for alcohol, I cannot drink very much beer (I have trouble digesting hops), so I am a liqour and wine man. Liqour is usually rum, and currently I am digging rose wines.

I don't know why I need to preface this statement with; I'm not much of a soda person any more (aside fro the occasional sarsaparilla), it just wouldn't feel right without it. Now I'm sitting here trying to think of a metaphor that doesn't sound forced and some how tie it all in to this nice little community we have here. It is not going to happen.
I love Mr. Pibb. Not the stuff they have now; Pibb Extra but the original 'it's in your head' stuff. No soda will come close to the marshmallow goodness that was that soda. My love affair with this soda knew no bounds. For Christmas a friend bought me a case of 20 oz bottles, suffice it to say that was one of the best presents I ever received. Sadly around winter of 2002 Coke in their infinite wisdom decided it was best to change the formula to better compete with Dr. Pepper and that is where we get Pibb Extra. It tastes like some one threw a bunch of leftover gingerbread cookies in a vat of soda and added a hint of licorice. No good. Slowly Mr. Pibb disappeared. He went out for a pack of smokes one night and never came back. My mom got married to this 'Extra' guy who is a complete douche and tries to act 'X-Treme' all the time. No I don't want to go hang gliding, fuck off!
I will always miss my Pibb. I have no regrets though. This isn't a situation where I never knew what I had till it was gone. No it was more like I treated every day I had with Pibb like it was my last.

Coffee, black. Usually a good French Roast.
Re: What is your favourite beverage...?
I suppose I'll add more to my earlier statement.
My favorite tea is sweet tea of course, it is my drink of choice at all times. Water and fruit juices usually follow, especially cranberry juice. I can go through a gallon of cranberry juice in less than a day.
I don't drink soda anymore, I stopped doing that a little over two years ago. I recently decided to give up drinking alcohol since I have little tolerance and I get horrendous hangovers. I don't drink milk, as I'm lactose intolerant, though soy-based products don't bother me so much. I also like Gatorade, I associate it with some good memories from childhood, especially the lemon-lime flavored powder version you can add to water. Good times there.

Yeah I can go through 3 liters of soda in a single day, and frequently do. I don't drink alcohol either, mostly because I'm not 21 though.Ack wrote:I suppose I'll add more to my earlier statement.

I feel old when talking to anyone my age yet too inexperienced to effectively talk to anyone older. Life is grand that way.

Really? I associate it with four years of football (American), during which time I was beaten and bruised, both physically and psychologically. Now that I think about it, good times for me as well.Ack wrote: I also like Gatorade, I associate it with some good memories from childhood, especially the lemon-lime flavored powder version you can add to water. I personally think that the "Ice Cool" lemonade Fanta is the best. Unfortunately, I can't find it outside of Amsterdam.
