Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
Went to the thrift store when it opened and got an Atari Lynx model 2 with a power adapter for $7.16. Screen is pretty awesome but it didn't come with any games and won't turn on. Anybody know if it needs a game to boot up or is it broken?

Jaguars will not power on at all without a cart in them or if a game is really dirty and not making full contact. I don't have a Lynx, but it's a possibility.coastercrazy10 wrote:Went to the thrift store when it opened and got an Atari Lynx model 2 with a power adapter for $7.16. I just recommend my coworker get this for her boyfriend. If you don't own a light gun attachment yet, I recomend the Komodo Buckshot or if you like importing, the official Handcannon from the UK.Opa Opa wrote:God bless casual gamers!CRTGAMER wrote:Opa Opa wrote:House of the Dead: Overkill -Wii- Pretty much brand new.

Boy am I on a spending spree. This'll be my last post here for a while. I'll just post multiple deals on one reply from now on. Try to keep this thread a bit more clean.

Yars' Revenge game cartridge and manual: $0.54. Got it at a comic book store where everything is normally 75% cheaper than at a game store.
(Now if only I had an Atari...

Re: Video Game "Finds of the Day"
Thanks for the info. I looked around eBay and I'm seeing a lot of Lynx 2s console only as broken but sold without games, and after some googling I couldn't find anything conclusive. Ordered Steel Talons so I suppose I'll just have to test the thing and find out myself. *fingers crossed*Hobie-wan wrote:Jaguars will not power on at all without a cart in them or if a game is really dirty and not making full contact.
