Yes, disc was included.

Search the gamestop website for "gameboy gamecube" and look for a store that still has them; of the many in Pittsburgh only 2 came up for me...luckily one was 2 miles from my house.

GBPlayers are still fairly common in Gamestop's. Most of the ones I frequent have multiples.
