Is it an unpopular opinion to actually like 'fan service'? Or am I just a pervert?

Personally, I only find it dumb in an artistic sense. Like, I would rather just have them be upfront about it and show a nipple instead of making them eat phallic-looking ice cream or whatever.

Other than that, yeah, nothing wrong there

I guess it depends on the definition of "like" haha. When the T&A is just over the top crazy I kinda roll my eyes or it's so blatant I have to laugh. Some people obviously take it to the extreme. If I see the word 'waifu' one more time used matter of factly in regards to Fire Emblem I might break something.

Considering the upward trend of games that focus on fan service, especially the ecchi stuff from Japan, it's clear this opinion is becoming less unpopular every day.

I think if you consider it as a whole...most people probably like some flavor of it, to some degree.

It's just an easy thing to have too much of.

I love fan service a ridiculous amount as made evident by my religious pre-ordering of anything Neptunia or Onechanbara.

Become more attractive than this?

No, seriously. Fire Emblem always had this kind of "beautiful people" appeal and characters were purporsedly designed for it, but this is too much

I think the constant blush was definitely too much, but I found Waifu Simulator 2016 to be really entertaining.

Well I'm not ferociously fapping, if that's what you mean

I just mean, I find it kinda hilarious. I just love over the top wacky Japanese games. Like the Senran Kagura games are amazing to me. It's just annoying when my wife is like "what the hell is that?"

Fanservice is all about context. It's only a problem with its used in a way that's damaging to a character in context with the rest of the work. In short it has to make sense within the narrative or it just comes off as pandering.

Works that are 100% fanservice don't bother me. With stuff like Bayonetta for instance you know what you're getting into. What bothers me is when a work spends time building up a non-sexualized badass female character only to pop her boobs out for no other reason than she has boobs that can be popped out.
