What was the last movie you've seen?

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Is it going to be good?

Nah, I asked for the spoilers. Safe to say there are a lot of explosions, and...football?

Yup. A Heinz Ward look a like? Oh yeah.

The football game? Not sure. I heard the kickoff return is pretty sweet.

In all honesty (although I was honest ^) I don't know. It's still in production, but Nolan knows what he's doing. Bane apparently looks smaller than Batman, but again, it's not in post pro yet.

Ok. I just wanted to be sure there aren't any obvious signs that it's gonna suck, like "chicks dig the Batmobile", or Robin doing his laundry.

I'm pretty sure it'll be shot in such a way that bane looks bigger. Or they'll make him bigger in post.

I'm also wondering about those scenes that were shot during the day in pittsburgh. Seems like they might try to make it look like night before it's done. Since when does batman run around in the batsuit fighting crime at 2pm? Then again, maybe he has no choice due to Bane.

Well, we will be seeing the Gotham Rogues and the River City Monuments teams playing some football.

The thing that makes Dark Knight Rises different from movies like Batman Forever or X-Men 3 or any other bad superhero threequel out there I think is that with those movies there was the studio stepping in and mucking things up or directors changing or something along those lines. That's not happening here, so yeah.

Needless to say my anticipation is high.

Dark Knight is a tough cookie to follow up. Plus, so much content to cover since Batman is once again a fugitive. Somehow the writers found some way to make the trilogy seamless (in a sense) so it will be interesting to see how they approach the "final act".
