Kind of ticked my ps3 just stopped recognizing my controllers out of the blue in the middle of a game. I have four controllers and not one would sync up. All of them are charged so I'm a little nervous that it might be a sign of something bad. I just got one working by using the reset button on the back then turned it off and back one with the controller but I'm worried my ps3 may be dying.

Unfortunately, the best thing you can do is just be her friend. Give her strength and let her know you are there for her, but this is a family issue that you don't want to butt into. Wish I had better advice, but this is one of those situations that sucks, and there's not much you can do about it.General_Norris wrote: I don't know how to help her with this.
I haven't been to Grady's, yet. It looks just like my favorite BBQ joint, B's BBQ. It's a run down shack with a B sanitation grade (the meat is cooked outside, and then transferred inside which is a sanitation no no) is on the side of a highway, yet always has a line outside the door and they run out of food by lunch time. The BBQ is phenomenal.o.pwuaioc wrote:Pffffffffffffffffffffftttttttttttttttttttt. Memphis BBQ beats NC BBQ any day.s1mplehumar wrote:Marry me? Eastern NC 'cue reigns supreme. B's is quite the melting pot too. Every type of person from people who wear just overalls and shoes, to surgeons and business men. One thing they all have in common is the love for B's chicken and pulled pork.
Memphis BBQ is a completely different style. It's not a fair comparison; apples and oranges.
Great. It's 10 am et, and I'm starting to crave ribs. Now the questioning begins: Wet or dry ribs?
If dry, smoked or regular paprika?
Mexican or Turkish Oregano?
If wet: what sauce?
Gourmet store bought or a homemade chipotle BBQ glaze?
I'm hungry and indecisive. That's a double whammy.

No, it's not. The blue-tooth in the PS3 can be a bit finicky, especially if you've synced a lot of items to it. I've had to do this at least a few times a year in all my time owning a PS3. It's nothing to worry about.flex wood wrote:Kind of ticked my ps3 just stopped recognizing my controllers out of the blue in the middle of a game. I have four controllers and not one would sync up. I'm worried about my PS3 too, but for a different reason. Sometimes when I put a DVD movie in the drive to watch and I start loading it up, it'll freeze on a black screen. I can take the disc out, but the system remains unresponsive and I have to unplug it to get anywhere. It only does it if I've just turned on the system and it's the first thing I've tried to do. It never does it twice in a row.RyaNtheSlayA wrote:No, it's not. The blue-tooth in the PS3 can be a bit finicky, especially if you've synced a lot of items to it. I once had my ps3 freeze up and show a yellow light. I turned it off, unplugged it, plugged it back in, and turned it back on, and it worked fine.
Haven't had any other trouble since, and that was a really good long while ago. I swear my heart stopped for a second though when I saw that yellow light.

Now that could be something. If you haven't tried backing up your stuff to an external drive and restoring it to factory you could do that. It's strange it doesn't do it twice in a row. Does it do it with PS1/2/3 games?BoringSupreez wrote: I'm worried about my PS3 too, but for a different reason. I know the ps3 has some sort of self-repair function in case of software errors. That'd probably be worth trying.

I haven't noticed it with games (my PS3 does not play PS2 stuff, BTW), or Blu-Rays. Just DVD movies. And everytime I unplug it, it has to do a hard drive check of some sort when I turn it back on, I forgot to mention.RyaNtheSlayA wrote:Now that could be something. probably isn't the best idea to unplug it all the time if you use it at all regularly
