This game is immediately going on my wishlist. It's like a spiritual calling. I must learn the ways of Panty Taoism.

I forsee gifting that game to someone, at least.

You should combine it with Showering with Your Dad Simulator.
Yes it's a real thing. No, I'm not linking it.

January:
February:
13) Quackshot Starring Donald Duck (GEN) (7.5)

This is a pretty fun Genesis platformer.
It's a bit non-linear. You can select different stages, and you may or may not have the tools necessary to proceed. When you hit these points, Donald will plant a flag, and you can call in an airplane to pick you up and take you back to the stage select screen.

Your primary weapon is a plunger. This doesn't actually kill enemies (except for bosses), it just stuns them so you can slide on past. This gets upgraded a few times over the course of the game. The first is more practical, letting you create platforms to climb walls with them. The second lets you attach it to a bird in some stages so that you can fly over large gaps.

Graphically, the game looks really nice. Lots of good and varied spritework. The controls sometimes feel a little sluggish, but it doesn't have the same issues as Deep Duck Trouble.

In addition to upgraded abilities, you also get a bubblegum gun that... breaks blocks? Sure, why not. And you can shoot popcorn, which is effectively a shotgun blast. Those are both limited-ammo weapons, however.

I'd definitely recommend this one if you like the Disney platformers. The non-linearity aspect helps differentiate it slightly from other straight platformers, and the game doesn't waste your time making you replay all those sections; when you re-enter a stage, you'll start at that flag you planted on your first playthrough. Yay! It's also not terribly difficult if you've been playing platformers for a while, although you will encounter some cheap deaths along the way when you don't know what you're doing. There are a couple of insta-kill pit deaths if you choose wrong, and a couple of the mine cart/pulley segments can be tricky the first time through... as it always seems to be with these games.
Also, no pantsu here! Donald and Daisy don't need no pants.

PLAY KING'S FIELD.
Re: Games Beaten 2017
1. Runbow - Wii U
2. Battlefield 1 - Xbox One
3. Until Dawn - PS4
4. Super Mario Sunshine - Gamecube
5. Titanfall 2 - Xbox One
6. Wario Ware, Inc: Mega Party Game$ - Gamecube
7. Pikmin 2 - Gamecube
This is a game that I play through to completion. The credits come after you complete the first half of the story (no spoilers here). The, "The End" screen comes after you gather all treasures in the game. This game is endearing (naming conventions of popular brand names for some of the treasure you dig up is hilarious and cause me to pop a smile), just like the first and third game in the series. Due to its price, I waited until I found a copy here locally. So now, having played through the entirety of Pikmin 2's campaign, I've gone through the series in its entirety. I think Pikmin is one of the most novel and enjoyable strategy games I've played on a console, and one that I think is Nintendo's sleeper franchise. I think it blends great aspects of the RTS genre and turn-based genre. What do you all think of Pikmin as a series?
My stats:
Days Played (In game days) - 36
Pikmin Born - 1421
Pikmin Lost - 804 (I'm a monster, leading my faithful Pikmin into Pikmincide)
Total Play Time - 23:57

3. Until Dawn - PS4
4. Super Mario Sunshine - Gamecube
5. Titanfall 2 - Xbox One

Re: Games Beaten 2017
I LOOOVE Pikmin. Pikmin 2 especially, because it takes all the anxiety that the first game had away by getting rid of the hard time limit. I keep wanting to play Pikmin again after playing so much Overlord, but I feel like I'd just keep getting them killed all the time. Overlord absolutely spoils you with how smart your minions are compared to Pikmin. Minions will automatically stop when you enter a body of water if they can't swim, for example, where Pikmin are only all to happy to follow you in, blindly to their deaths XD
