Still just as great today as it was in 1999. The graphics are rough but it works in the game's favor in my opinion. This is probably second only to Resident Evil 2 as the best survival horror games of that generation.

Could have been decent if it felt like a full game. At four levels it feels like half the content was cut. The Sega CD version makes this obsolete.

Quite possibly the worst shooter on the SNES and one of the reasons it has such a bad reputation in the genre. Yikes.

Far better than you would expect considering it is a licensed game. I would say give it a chance but it is exceedingly rare and expensive. But like Panic Restaurant and the rest of Taito's late NES output if you find it at a decent price you will be rewarded with a pretty good game.

An excellent port of a fantastic arcade game. Great graphics and moderate challenge make it easily accessible for any skill level. Reviewing Supergrafx games is bittersweet; the games showed off the system's potential and make you wish it were successful.

No one speaks of Strider Returns with good reason. Strider Returns is a poor man’s version of the Capcom classic and best left forgotten by history. Buy the real Strider 2 instead.
