Codename: S.T.E.A.M. went to $10 in GameStop. Yeah, it finally got bought.

Word is that the amiibo bundle of the Chibi-Robo game is at $20 right now as well. Tempting, actually.

Chibi-Robo: Zip Line is a cute a game, and it's a great time killer, but I think a college friend of mine what spot on when she described it by saying "It's the most 'okay' game I've ever played." It's not bad by any means, but it's just really, really "meh." The amiibo is adorable, however, so if you're collecting amiibos or just a huge Chibi-Robo fan, definitely pick up the bundle.

That comment your friend said I've seen most who have put more than an hour or two into it say the same thing. It's why it went from a must buy to the maybe later if I find it very cheap pile. It's sad but it's like Chibi Robo lamely peaked with the original GC game which isn't good. It can't be that hard to recreate that formula but they keep either blowing it or making it boring fast.

Yeah, I played through the whole thing, and it's definitely a cute game and not bad by any means, but it definitely is just "okay." I recommend it for fans of platformers, but I recommend it as a game to play a level or two while you're lying in bed before you go to sleep. It would get very boring very quickly to marathon.

I hear the Japan only DS game basically replicates that formula. It looks pretty great.

Shame it's the only unlocalised game in the series.
