Been watching videos of crusader of centy. Looks and seems a lot like Zelda. I can play that.
Gotta ask a question on the cdx. Does anyone know if it plays Burned disc? The model 2 Sega CD plays fine but I'm not sure on the cdx yet. Won't know till I have my ac adapter and just weary I might hurt the lens trying to read a burned disc

To my knowledge, there's nothing difference between the Sega CD Models 1 & 2 and the CDX as far as copy-protection goes.

Doing my best to try and conquer Castlevania Bloodlines.
This game is by far top tier in terms of graphics and music for the Genesis, great stuff.

Konami did some fantastic stuff on the Genesis. Bloodlines, Contra Hard Corps and Rocket Knight Adventures all have really great graphics and sound. They bent the hardware in ways that only a few developers managed.Xeogred wrote:Doing my best to try and conquer Castlevania Bloodlines.

It looks a lot more like Zelda than it plays though their are similarities.mas wrote:Been watching videos of crusader of centy. Looks and seems a lot like Zelda.
Don't get me wrong, it's an interesting game just maybe not worth the price of admission.

just got a box for my copy of Gunstar Heroes. I'm one step closer to boxing all my Genesis games. Now I need to find the manual for Gunstar Heroes.

I had no idea. I examied the box thorougly. There's no mention of a free sample of fruit roll ups on the exterior of the box. I guess I learned something new today. I'm probably not going to bother tracking down a twenty-two-year-old treat though. Having the cart and the manual in the box with the hangtab intact is OCD enough for me.Gunstar Green wrote:Don't forget the Fruit Roll-Up for true completion.

I was joking but yes, it came packaged with a fruit roll-up. Sega had so little confidence in the game they thought they needed to bribe you with a fruit snack to buy it.
