Basically, Ninja Gaiden II is to Ninja Gaiden what The Empire Strikes Back is to Star Wars.

Bayou Billy is beatable without cheats. The shooting and driving levels are easy to get through with one life, and if you successfully complete the practice levels you get some great bonuses.

The fighting levels are brutal though, and should be reversed. Punching 'gators in the mouth is something a guy should be doing at the very last level, and shooting people in the face should be in the first level.

Love that game so much I bought the limited series comic as well.

I didn't think you'd go Star Wars reference, but I'll definitely be playing Ninja Gaiden II...After I beat Bayou Billy.

I loved the power up giving you those ninja shadows that follow you. Don't think I've seen that in any other game

Ninja Spirit for Turbografx has it too, and they're arguably even more useful there, because the extra firepower is quickly necessary.
