Like I noticed noise was getting hit by jump ins a lot while crouching. He can block those if he blocks high.

what do you mean? I know I often crouch defensively, and block stuff that way. You're saying I should block without crouching as much? I figured crouching minimized low/trip attacks?

I just mean on reaction to a jump in you should switch to blocking high. Better yet, find out what moves your character has that are best for hitting jumpers out of the air.

that's a good point. I tend to either rush AT my opponent, or just block. I don't do a lot of defensive attacking.
