Big selling point to me right there on Wolfenstein was the NO multiplayer. It forced them to create a better environment and focusing totally on the single player experience all around and made for a better game. When you go into it not thinking about how to nickel and dime a fortune out of multiplayer rehash with a tacked on halfassed using existing assets single player to round a package out it really shows.

I personally find multiplayer keeps me coming back though. In the case of Wolfenstein, I did love it. I loved how it felt like a classic, old school shooter too, with health packs and just great level design, instead of the usual 'big open space' environments. But I played through the story mode, it took me probably about 10-15 hours and then I tossed it aside and never played it again. I tried The Old Blood, but as it was just 'more of the same', but didn't seem to have the same impact, I got bored and never finished it.

People complain Battlefront is a rip off, light on content and made as a DLC pumping machine (same with Destiny), yet I've put in well over 20 or 30 odd hours into it and I'm still coming back for more. For me, those kind of hours make it money well spent.

I love all of the Star Ocean games. I can play them for 100's of hours and never get bored.

2 is pretty amazing, but I never got off the first planet which is apparently just the beginning?

Hopefully the new one is good.

If you liked the second game, give First Departure on PSP a shot, too. Good stuff.

Relatively. I'd say it's probably about...oh, half the storyline in Second Story. I love the game, and it definitely has a ton of replayability, so if you stick with it, there is a lot to enjoy. You should go back some time.

Not to mention I love sci-fi. I almost want to say it was overwhelming with how dense the battle system and things were, as usual with a lot of Tri-Ace. Maybe I wasn't in the mood either, no idea. Another one of those or few games I played and liked, but mysteriously stopped playing.

First three Star Ocean games are cool but filled with too much annoying cryptic shit.

(And by the third game I mean Blue Sphere. "Part 3" is awful.)

Probably no surprise here, but I recently picked up a copy of FF7....and yeah that game is overrated. While the story is decent so far(only a hour in), the camera works against me half the time especially during that first reactor section.... Not to mention I apparently need a new controller since this one is doing that super fast switching in the sub-menus of the menu that I have no control over where it lands(heck during the materia tutorial it had it acted like I was pressing O to advance but I wasn't so I couldn't read it until I flipped the analog halfway in....
