I watched THE MARINE last night. Oh boy is it awfully awesome.
I remember reading that Guillermo Del Toro wanted to direct. Is that possible? And the best line from The Marine is "He's like the Terminator!" then Robert Patrick turns around
Three Kings
Everything just blends together so perfect in this

Who would you like to see play Dr. Strange?
Liam Neeson has the chops to pull it off.
Patrick Dempsey has expressed interest.
I'm not sure who'd I pick at this point, but I'm sure there's a perfect fit out there. I just hope Wong isn't Jet Li or Jackie Chan.
I watched THE MARINE last night. Oh boy is it awfully awesome. The lead's character name is even badass: John Triton. I repeat: John Triton. Plus, it's made by WWE movie studios; do I need to say more? Well, I'm gonna. It's so stupidly funny, and has some really bad lines delivered by some really bad extras.
I won't spoil the ending, but it has something to do with Triton being a Marine.

Toro will not be the director. No way, no how.
My favorite exchange in the MARINE is something close to:
"What are you doing sergeant?"
-"Shooting! What does it look like we're doing?"
"Missing!"

Is this one just a straight up remake, or does it tie in to the more recent entries in the series?
Not a remake, although I can see how people are led to believe it with the title.
It's going to be a fun ride of a movie. The first act is said to be a teeny tiny bit drawn out, but for good reason. I'm guessing the final scene either involves the Statue of Liberty or Caesar speaking English...roll credits.
