It is worth mentioning that Dark Souls II and the Scholars Sins Whatever Edition do have some noticable balancing changes between them. The original game is believed to be a bit more fairly balanced, as there are some extra, more dickish enemies placed into the rerelease for no real reason so far as I can tell. Just in case that influences your desire to sell your OG one.

Gamestop is having a Buy 2 Get 1 on PS3 and 360 games this week for Pro members, so I went out to the one out West of me to pick up some nice things I saw there over the weekend.

First, I picked up Vanquish for a friend. She really liked Shadows of the Damned, and she was really psyched to try another game by that director. Then for me I grabbed:

The Witch and the Hundred Knight (PS3)
Tenchu Z (360)

I've never played a Tenchu game before, but Z seems to be about as good as any. I like me some stealth games, and it's also another fairly good 360 exclusive, which I'm always in the market for. Witch and the Hundred Knight is finally $10, which is enough of a price drop for me to take a chance on, especially for an ARPG (and I like me some ARPG's). Might not get to it for a while though. I think I'm gonna try and go through some Grasshopper Manufacture games I have but haven't tried yet during this free week I have coming up.

Only true for Scholar of the First Sin on 8th gen and PC. On 7th gen, it's the original release plus the DLC.

Far as I know, some of the more egregious changes stem from the retooled version supporting more co-op players (including NPC summons). So, they put more mobs in some areas, which sucks if you're going it solo...but it's presumably why.
They did change a few things to be easier though.

A local pawn shop that used to be a great place for getting game's, but has been a bit dry recently. Amazingly, it was marked with a $1 clearance sticker.

That is nuts! Great find.

I've got the same situation in my town, there's a pawn shop that used to have great deals on games, but it's been pretty much empty of anything interesting lately. Oh, the deals I used to get there, though. It's where I got my complete copy of Chrono Trigger for $15, a copy of Final Fantasy Tactics for $12 back when it was selling for around $100. Even several years ago, I found a bunch of boxed (but no manual) NES games, and it included Bucky O'Hare and The Jetsons: Cogswell's Caper. The latter is now going for a pretty ridiculous amount of money.

Yep, and being published by Taito. Man, those late-run Taito games are all pricey.

I should also point out that Bucky O'Hare ain't exactly cheap, either.
