It's making me real glad that I've got a lot more exploring to do in the 6th gen as well as the portable realms.
Any odds an item like *this* would be popular?

I hope this is the thread where we talk about next gen consoles.
Xbox1 reveal is upsetting its too similar to the one before it. I really do not see anything new here. Music, Video, Digital Downloads its all the same of what is already available . While the graphics are obviously better I am not seeing the power of the 8GB ram(jump from 512mb, thats 16 times more!) while the oXbox -> 360 Jump was 8x (64mb->512mb) . The movies and fantasy stuff is not worth it to me it will probably tell me that this service is not available in your region. The only thing I liked is switching sources without having different wire inputs although I am not sure if a cable IN port is packaged with the xbox1 or is it streaming.
Overall this generation is very confusing, the specs are so similars , games are so similar , you can not differentiate between it and a PC. In fact, I am keeping an eye for the SteamBox because I am guessing that with that device I can at least have freedom on playing multimedia without locking me into region codes or region availability since its basically a PC. The way I see it this generation is something more like:
If you want to play Halo buy 360
If you want to play Uncharted get ps4
There is nothing really else you can lose with one or the other even the controllers are fairly the same (compared to Wii U, or Wii , or GC or even the original Xbox controller).
any one knows when can we learn more about the SteamBox thing?
Yeah, I would also like to add that according to this from gamespot (Twitter XboxOne vs PS4 battle) things do not look any where good for the Xbox. I am amazed myself. I once opened a thread here asking how is the 360 doing the majority said its synonymous with a gaming console now. I know that this is not a proof of future sales but its a good indicator at least in my opinion

External factors throughout today put me in a rotten mood, but that doesn't excuse me losing my cool on him. in truth, I really didn't mean any offense in my original post, but my last one was way over the line. At worst I should have just ignored his reply, at best I should have replied with a cooler head.
Hopefully there's no hard feelings and he can accept my apology.
Admitting fault and offering apology? Dude, you're going to break the internet!

Don't add to my problems by pretending my past views are still held in the present. I do not have any patience for that. Feel free to ask me what I think now.
