I did, and can't understand why someone on a retro forum would be surprised that we'd want our new consoles to also play our old games. Especially since the chance is good that removing BC means they want to re-sell us digital versions the same games we already own in a physical medium.

I've always played my old games about as often as my new ones. It's nice to not have to have an extra system hooked up.

yup. I probably play PS1 games just as much as PS3 games on my PS3.

So few consoles have done BC perfectly (including with accessories) that I still end up hooking the old consoles up for some reason or another anyway. I can't think of one system that had perfect BC. Still, if WiiU can allow us to play older games on the controller screen, that alone is an upgrade worth paying for, isn't it?
