I don't think going to the movies is out of need to see something as soon as it is released, but more of a nice "getting out of the house" event.
it can be costly though, I usually stick to the cheapie theatres.

I don't need to go see movies as soon as they come out either. It's a social thing, I get to hang out with my friends and watch a movie, away from the stress of everyday life. Sounds like I'm getting a bargin @ $11.gtmtnbiker wrote:I don't miss going to the movies. I much rather watch it at home on DVR/netflix/etc and save my cash for something else. EDIT: My guesses for Luke are A Cabin in the Woods, Lockout, and Bully. How close am I?
CABIN, LOCKOUT, RAID:THE REDEMPTION.
Cabin and Lockout will be a second viewing, but am totally psyched to watch Raid.
Yes, I'm bringing a pen and a notepad.

It's good to be social but how social can you get sitting in the theater when you're not supposed to talk? I would rather take the $11 and spend it in a bar having 2-3 beers and watching a game on TV with my friends.Stark wrote: I don't need to go see movies as soon as they come out either. In any case, if going to the movies bring you enjoyment, that's good.
Tonight I plan to be doing my taxes but will get over to a friend's house tomorrow to play pool.

Don't forget to stockpile some goodies in the misses purse since you will be there awhile.
