It's the only port at a time when nearly every other Bally/Midway arcade title had at least an appearance on the Atari 2600/5200/Colecovision/other computers. I got it in a normal stage, and I didn't get any continues.alienjesus wrote:Violent By Design wrote:So I'm playing Sonic 1 on master system, I have a question.
What does the continue TV box do? I hit it and figured I'd get another continue, but once I got game over that was it.
...It gives you a continue.![]()
You mean the one with 'CONT' on the screen right? That you find in the springy bonus stages?

There was apparently an Atari 8-bit version planned. I heard there are prototypes out there.ExedExes wrote: It's the only port at a time when nearly every other Bally/Midway arcade title had at least an appearance on the Atari 2600/5200/Colecovision/other computers. I thought you were implying that the C64 version sucked and therefore it should have been ported somewhere else purely for that reason.ExedExes wrote: It's the only port at a time when nearly every other Bally/Midway arcade title had at least an appearance on the Atari 2600/5200/Colecovision/other computers. It's hilarious that Senran Kagura got lambasted when it is the logical conclusion of current trends in the design of bestselling games. People were put off by the moe, but imagine if the ninja schoolgirls were replaced by Gears of War characters, monsters, and chainsaws.

I think the game is pretty easy, sure you can mess up alot, but you feel the need to go back and try a different route.General_Norris wrote:Gee, is Thief II supposed to be so...dark? As in, pitch black in zones? I raised the Gamma level but some areas are pure void!
I also lost right on the first mission because I called my stupid friend right at the beginning and he proceded to go straight into the mansion. Sigh.![]()
Any tips, guides I can read? Thoughts?
Im playing through the game for the first time too, the Mansion is super easy imo, the next stage the Warehouse, can get pretty annoying if you dont check your map often.
Im currently on the 3rd stage, not much to say about that.

Speaking of too-dark games, I'm seriously struggling with X-Files on PS2. How can I protect dana during an autopsy when I literally can't see anything but black?
also why does dana insist on running in circles and yelling "MULDER." when she finishes
