Anyone see Justice League: Doom yet? I really want to see that sometime soon. It's loosely based on one of my favorite Batman comic book stories, which was JLA: Tower of Babel.

One of they guys on my comic message board saw Justice League: Doom; he said it was a little different than the comic story, but still good and recommended picking it up. And he's a big DC Comics fan, so I trust his opinion on it. He also said there's a preview for the next DC Comics animated movie on it: Superman vs. Elite. I plan on picking it up tomorrow.

It's great. Saw it a couple weeks ago. Very cool. It's nice to have most of the old JLA Voice actor gang back together. Although I do love Jon Stewart's Lantern (and Phil Lamarr's VO) it's awesome to have Nathan Fillion as Hal Jordan in it.

Seems like a little bit of a strange choice for Hal to be there. Kyle Rayner was in the original comic story, and the casual audience knows John Stewart better from the JLU cartoon.

But... it's Nathan Fillion. I mean, come on.

There was a Young Justice thread, actually two I believe, but this thread has been more active. I have been behind on this show. Fortunately, downloading some episodes online hasn't been as much of a hassle as downloading just about anything else these days has been since Megaupload got axed.

This show has gotten seriously good. We're getting deep into the backstory of some characters and we're also seeing loyalties and trust being put to the test as the team faces greater danger from within the group than without. The show has seriously approached Justice League Unlimited levels of quality now, which is what I'd always hoped for. If you liked that show and the other shows in its continuity, this IS the spiritual successor to those. It's also leagues better than Teen Titans was.

Also, TONS of DC fan service, there was a great joke for Green Lantern fans in the last episode that made me smile. Apparently, two of JL's current Lanterns weren't too keen on the suggestion of bringing Guy Gardner to the league

Also, pretty awesome news about Earthworm Jim coming to DVD. I caught an episode or two of that show back when it used to be on.
