Don't know. My friend is the one who bought them. I didn't look that closely at the bottle.
Is the regular Guiness imported from Ireland?
Only the Guinness Draft. The stout and I believe Black are made in Canada.

So is the Fosters we get in America. Foster's is actually "Canadian for Beer".

Having a walnut, kale and banana smoothie. The things I'll do for my wife.

You had me at walnut and banana, and then lost me with kale.

I actually clean, cook, and eat a lot of kale and absolutely enjoy the stuff.

Drinking it however. Blech.

Sounds good to me. I love Kale! I Started drinking Kale mixed smoothies when I was stationed in Germany. They grow loads of the stuff over there.

Oh yeah, kale chips (a little olive oil and sea salt and baked for a while till it's crispy) or in soup, I'm all over it.

Thanks for your service.

Where were you stationed in Germany? I'm a first genner, and my Grandparents moved from Dusseldorf.

Thank YOU. It was a great privilege to serve. I was garrisoned in an Armor unit in Vilseck. Our sister post was Grafenwoehr. I love Bavaria.

I think we could do the "No, Thank YOU!" thing forever. I'm just a civilian, but I'm also one of those guys who always outstretches a hand to any active member in the military as well as Veterans to let them know I appreciate their personal sacrifices to defend our Country.

I've made a promise to myself that before my demise I'll visit what I guess you could call my "Motherland", and Bavaria is on the list of places I will visit. You think after 6 semesters of Deutsch I would be fluent, by I can barely hold a conversation in German. Something I should remedy.

Tying this post together...I can't wait to sip/gulp a beer(or twenty) at the Hofbrauhaus in Munchen. My Father has been plenty of times, and always brings back a souvenir for me.

Also in related "what are you drinking" news, anyone else drink Dr.Enuff?

I can't find it anywhere any more, and it was the only soda with benefits that I enjoyed.

Yes, I said "soda with benefits".

My girlfriend bartends at a fine dining restaurant where the bartenders are called mixologists so I've been on a weird kick lately of drinking what's called a hunter s. It's bubble gum vodka grapefruit juice and some jalapeno simple syrup. All you taste is bubble gum then you get a bit of spicy after taste.

Is that a typo, or is the drink named after Hunter S. Thompson? Or is it neither?
