Hmmmm...

A Space Invaders T-Shirt is definitely not worth $450.

Well, it does come with $3,400 worth of video games.

$3400 worth of video games AND an autographed copy of one of the Fables seems like a decent deal to me for $3400.
Yeah, redemption prizes aren't supposed to be "good deals", they're just minor incentive to keep shopping at their place.

@Limewater: the point is that I didn't shop at Gamestop BECAUSE I wanted a Space Invaders T-Shirt, but rather I got a Space Invaders T-Shirt BECAUSE I shopped at Gamestop. The shirt was irrelevant. I was going to buy those games without getting a shirt. So...

I should clarify. I thought the blue text and my previous comments made it clear, but my comment about the t-shirt was a joke.

Occured to me why the GBA carts are being discontinued. The DSI and the new 3DS around the corner, there is no support for the GBA carts. A shame, the GBA SP can fit in my front pants pocket unlike the current crop of portables. I discovered an interesting article on some unique peripherals that utilized the GBA slot for DSI games. Things like a Rumble Pack, Pedometer, Paddle Controller and even a form of an E-Reader. Collector items due to the limited run. Not to mention the GBA carts themselves, a future hard to find item?

Strange that the PS2 games are still being sold, perhaps because of so many? I hope this continues, only a matter of time. So which gets the cut next, Gamecube or PS2?

In my hunt of GBA, Gamecube and PS2 games, I returned to the Gamestop that is very adamant in Corporate policy. This store has tossed out a ton of cases and manuals. The sad part, look at all the crappy music and sports titles still in the cases in the pic below. At least they cleaned up the dog pile in the basket, the discs are all squished in the holding tray vertically. Luckily I know of a few Gamestops in my area where the employees actually are purposely keeping the games intact with the cases on the shelf. They know a game is better complete and easier to locate with a case.

Who is going to dig through this crap! A corporate rep should try to find a game.

I think backwards compatibility with the Wii is the only reason Gamecube games are still being sold. I'm surprised Gamecube games outlasted GBA games in all honesty.

I'm right here, CRT. What do you wanna know about? The paddle controller only works on 2 games officially and I guess so-so on Mario Kart. But it is cool. The e-Reader is awesome. I can tell you all about that. I've owned (at one time or another) almost every single e-Reader game.

At least yours are on the floor at your store so they can be easily accessible.
At the store in my area you have to reach up to get to them.

Your store: a.
Mine: b. the X's denote where the generic cases and complete games are.

It is not worth reaching up there just to look unless you absolutely need a specific game.
I don't see why they don't have one of those cd binders sitting on the counter. It'd be easier to flip through and take up a lot less space.

Well the sooner they discontinue their ps2 games the sooner they'll not be throwing cases away.
