Everyone likes the IDEA of Sigma Star Saga. Then they play it and the liking goes away.noiseredux wrote:did you ever play Sigma Star Saga for GBA? You'd probably like it.Xeogred wrote:Wow, confusing. On that note though, Guardian Legends is an awesome game, reminds me a lot of Blaster Master to an extent.

Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

^that's how I feel. But I've met people that claim it's great. To me it's great in THEORY, but not when I play it.

haha no, I just thought you'd want to check it out. Like I said -- people have claimed to like it. Mod_Man for one has defended it on here.

It should be the coolest thing ever, but when you get down to it, there is probably just no good way to seamlessly combine one of the fastest-paced genres of gaming with one of the slowest-paced ones.noiseredux wrote:^that's how I feel. Cross Guardian Heroes off my list. The game lives up to its reputation, amd I will certainly be going back for more whenever the beat em up mood strikes me. It is so much more fun than Castle Crashers and the like from the current gen...Treasure hit another one out of the park.
Also, how cool is it that I beat Chrono Trigger yesterday and Guardian Heroes today? Two of the most highly regarded games of all time in their respective genre and for their respective console, back to back. That's why this thread is awesome.

I think I am going to start Skies of Arcadia: Legends tomorrow, as well as finishing Sengoku III for the Neo Geo. I think I am going to finish a Dreamcast game this summer, but I can't decide which one. I was going to play Skies of Arcadia on the DC, but I have heard much better things about the GC version, and I don't own a legitimate copy of the game yet for the DC. What should I play for the Dreamcast?

just beat mission 3 of Duke Nukem (Death Row)... good level. A lot harder than the first two, just as far as navigating and figuring out how to unlock everything. Of course it helped that I didn't know how to use first aid kits until halfway through this level, haha. Anyway one thing that struck me -- it took me 23 mins to beat this level. At the end is said Par time was 5 mins. Seriously? Five minutes to beat that level?
