That book had been in so many shots all season, you knew it had to come into play at some point. I liked the scene BECAUSE of the mundane nature of it all. I doubt anyone predicted that

Hank would stumble upon the answer and figure it out while taking a shit.

I laughed for half an hour because of that scene. In Brazil we actually have an expression which translates literally to "in the shitting", meaning "by sheer luck."

I was sure, for example, that the scene with Jesse Walt Jr pushing the baby around the pool would result in some kind of tragic, shocking, violent, or otherwise pulse-racing moment.

Yeah, my wife had the same thought that something might happen. It was a bit annoying having her interject her thoughts (I think this is going to happen, etc).

So now that Hank knows, the real question is: how well has Walt covered his tracks? Is there any evidence to convict him of anything beyond, perhaps, knowing who Gail was? It seems he MIGHT be able to explain that away in some fashion or another, given time to think. I am now even more intrigued by that beginning of the season foreshadowing at the diner! Arrgh, what the fuck is going to happen next?!

I think Hank is going to keep it to himself. That is, he's going to try to trap Walt somehow.

The thing that confused me is how did Walt end up with the book? I thought Hank had it at one point? Did Hank give it back to Walt? I can't recall what happened.

The wife picked up on the color blue when Skyler was taking Walter to the storage unit with the cash. The doors were light blue, and they were both wearing blue shirts.

I think so. They showed him getting the scan, but had no follow-up.
I think they will make a play on that while balancing Hank deciding what to do with his revelation.
