If I hadn't already beaten in on PS2, I'd pick it up myself.


I considered buying it but was put off by the fact that it's inferior to the PS2 version.

I've been staring at my Vita the last few days and thinking about finally playing Persona 4.....

You should look into it some more. My understanding it that there is a graphical downgrade, but that the 3DS version has some extra content, features, and refinements not available in the PS2 version. Here is nintendolife's review:

Apparently, they absolutely loved the new in-game camera feature and the elimination of random encounters.

It also removes the orchestral soundtrack as I understand it.

...but, apparently, it is still in the Japanese version of the game, which is strange to me. :?

I thought the orchestral music was unique to the US PS2 release and wasn't in the JPN original.
