FF7 - Cloud is dead, we found him again, hooray?

Working on the Mount Corel Reactor now. About to get on the train if my memory is correct.

Polygon published a really extensive article about FF7 which is timely for your playthrough.

I get nervous about this much talk of FF7. It's what usually makes me start playing it again. And I hate/love it.

I considered buying it but was put off by the fact that it's inferior to the PS2 version.

You should look into it some more. My understanding it that there is a graphical downgrade, but that the 3DS version has some extra content, features, and refinements not available in the PS2 version. Here is nintendolife's review:

Apparently, they absolutely loved the new in-game camera feature and the elimination of random encounters.
