i rarely ever check shopgoodwill.com, but i just happened to take a peak at the right time. at the last second i was able score 3 cib sega cd games, one of which is crime patrol! def one of the harder games to get cib for the system. shipping was 9 fucking dollars though, which is going to kill some of my profit.

i have never seen a copy on ebay, so i am very curious to see what people are going to bid on it.
if you took a shit, please put it back

So. A new thrift store opened up in town. Awesome, right?

I bought Super Mario World, TNN Bass Tournament of Champions and Super Pinball: Behind the Mask (all for SNES) for $10.00. Not because I wanted them, but because I just want this store to stay in business.

They had a TON of PS2/XBOX/GCN games. Probably over 100. Some really great titles, too. And I looked at every single one, and they all had discs scratched beyond recognition. If the games were $1.00, I might have risked it. But at $5 or 3 for $10 it's too damn much.

They also have a locked case of "collectibles", inside were: Oddworld: Abe's Odysee and Final Fantasy VIII, so I took a peek. FF8 was missing disc 1 and Abe's had a crack right through the entire first disc. There was also a disaster of an SNES for $15.00. And a couple of slim PS2 for $20.00 and an SNES satellite (lol) controller hub for $20.00.

I practically gave him $10, and I told this dude to call me if any more old or new video games come in.

So what makes you sadder when you're shopping in the wild? Not finding anything or finding things you'd really like to own that have been absolutely molested by their previous owners?

Definitely the second. I've found tons of items that I've wanted that I've left behind because of the condition.

the fucking WORST is when I see a game I want, or a game of value only to open up the box to find there's no game inside. :?

Went to Edward McKay's in Winston today and traded in my Jaguar for what's a great deal considering it's a small local shop:

$75 cash for it and the hookups/controllers, Tempest Doom and Wolfie 3D.

Spun right around in the store and got:

Shinobi 3: Return of the Ninja Master, Genesis (CIB and in great shape) - $10

Ghost in the Shell, PS1 (been looking for this for a while, and has fantastic music) - $15

Wild Metal, Dreamcast (CIB) - $7
My Consoles:
Genesis - Nomad - SegaCD - GameGear - Sega Saturn - Dreamcast - NES - SNES - N64 - Gamecube - Wii - Playstation - PSone & LCD - PS2 - PS3 - Xbox - 3DS
