+1 Mod_Man_Extreme - got the Street Fighter package. This is a good substitute for paying for Third Strike on the Dreamcast. Thanks again.

got a couple of PS2 games from him and he even threw in a free gift. THEN he was super understanding when I went to the PO and accidentally left his package out of the pile of packages I was sending out.

+1 weaponepsilon for giving the Lynx books and boxes a good home.

-Eleventy billion to USPS for changing the rules on MM again and for 'pamphlets' not counting even though they're printed reading material, so that my postage estimate was way off. :x

+1 TO Hobie-wan who sent a nicely packed set to me. Dont worry mate, I'll get something else from you eventually.

Yeah, I gave you a quote that was wrong and you'd already paid me. Not your fault. :)

Post office BS and my fault for being wrong.

Can you go to a different PO Hobie? Folks seem to find that media mail rules miraculously vary from office to office based on the workers. It's bullshit, but it is sometimes the way it has to be done. I have sent scores of games, dvds, and actual magazines and books through media mail with no questions or problems from my local Post Office. They've even told me that "yes, games are fine." Even if they're wrong according to official USPS rules, the price is right for me and I've not encountered any mishandled/abused mail (I know other folks have completely opposite stores)...

Unfortunately this is the better of the 2 near me. My actual post office that handles my incoming mail is absolutely terrible. There's hardly ever anyone working and the ones that are have about the working speed of a dog turd in a Siberian winter and always have an attitude. I always have my stuff ready to go with all forms filled out and only get in line for packages I can't print myself or with the DIY machine. I've never gotten out of there in less than 20 minutes. The one I send packages out from usually get the job done fairly quickly and look like they hate life a little less. As long as I get there with no big line I'm usually out in 5 minutes.
