What was the last movie you've seen?

Even though I've watched it a million times, I can never get bored of Kevin Smith's humour. Its one of the view comedy sequels I've seen that actually matches up to the original.
Wat.

I know what you meant, I thought Clerks 2 was pretty funny as well.

But matching the original? Not even close. They aren't even in the same realm. Clerks 2 is a completely different movie.

This.

Clerks 2 is a mainstream comedy that deals with tired and old cliches to continue it's progression throughout the plot. It's basically Clerks redone for the roadtrip, eurotrip, american pie, bad college movies about getting laid and scary movie/whateverthehellthey'reputtinginfrontofitthistime movie crowd.

"Mainstream" or not, Clerks 2 is legions better than all those movies you mentioned.

Jurassic Park- A childhood favorite that I managed to see on the big screen. Watching it caused me to wonder,"Holy shit, this is some pretty heavy stuff for a little kid to have watch." The ending scene with the T-Rex roaring caused major goosebumps.

Silly? Yes.
Dumb? Yes.
Over the top? eh...not at all for a Smith film.
A redone Clerks for idiots? That's where you're totally off.

A good amount of the script, especially in the third act, is based on Smith and Mewes' relationship. I'm among a lot of people who don't think the movie needed a donkey show and smut, but CLERKS II shouldn't be compared to eurotrip. That's not fair.

Quick add, my wife and I rented Gulliver's Travels.

It was goofy, but funny. We enjoyed it.

Not a "movie", per se, but...

AD Police Files: To Protect and Serve - Files 2 and 3. Already saw File 1.

And got my hands on the fansubbed version of the Megami Tensei OVA. More info on it here.
