I saw many movies over the past week, most through MST3K, but two of them weren't:
Full Metal Jacket: I thought this one was great. The film quality and special effects look like something from 10-15 years later, but it was actually made in 1987.
Johnny Dangerously: A silly 80's comedy. Thought it was pretty fargin funny.

So I just watched Transformers 3...blah, I didn't care for it at all. I must admit that part of my dislike was that it was in 3D, which gave me a terrible headache after the first hour and a half. I had to leave the theater near the end of the film for a few minutes because my eyes hurt so bad. The film was primarily composed of special effects and "SECRET" government stuff that irked me in the first film. I never saw the second and only saw this one because friends invited me.

I thought the first was better than I was expecting, but still not good. The second was fucking terrible. If I hadn't been with a group of a dozen friends and been rides for a few of them, I would have walked out if it. Well no, I wouldn't have even been there in the first place.
Sounds like the third continues the train of travesty.
