Just started up World of FF on Vita. Very slow and meh at first, but I'm willing to stick with it. Hopefully it will pick up, as the reception at least indicated. Fair warning, at least: the beginning is painfully dull. It mostly just swaps between large blocks of tutorial text and moronic, vague KH-style exposition.
I review (mostly old) games at: The Annals of Retrodom.

I thought about getting WoFF, but I just can't past the character designs:
Sometimes I see shots were they have big bobble heads with creepy doll eyes:

Then I see shots were they look kinda like mentally challenged Weeble Wobbles:

And I'm definitely not into all the cutesy fluffy characters:

It's rare that a game's aesthetic decisions can make me actively nauseous, but this is one of those cases. It seems like a Final Fantasy game extruded through the bowels of a Kingdom Hearts fanatic. Clearly I am not part of the target demographic.

But please do let us know how it goes for you.

I don't mind bobble-headed super-deformed crap but I haaaaaaaaate Takayuki Odachi's style of art. Yuck.

Speaking of art that's a little, uh, different here's Nina in the latest Breath of Fire installment.

I can get behind her design if you know what I mean. But yeah, no wings, no Nina.

I am currently playing the Krynn series from SSI set in the Dragon Lance world. It´s pretty hard going from playing Divinity Original Sin to a game from 1990, but once you commit and the graphics and controls stop bothering you, you really get sucked in to the storyline and gameplay :)

Well, it's the one and only phone installment. It's also on PC.

I fired back up DQVII, and I spent a few more hours with it. I think that I am getting close to some major storyline events, but the game moves at such a glacial pace that it will probably be a few more hours until I actually reach them...
