Ah yes, I love waking up to a new review by SNESdrunk.SNESdrunk wrote:Tuesday, November 4, 2014 - Super Ninja Boy
My only issue with Super Ninja Boy is that it gives no information on the variety of super jumps and such you will have to use to beat it. I like the game, but when it suddenly throws a curve ball platforming segment, I struggle to maintain my interest. This is a huge part of why I have never beaten the game despite enjoying it and having owned it for years.

Do you or anyone else by chance have any ideas for any more list type videos? Along the lines of Best Multiplayer, Best Games Under $10, etc. The only one I've got coming up is Best Games Not on the Virtual Console. I'd like to do more videos like that but I'm out of ideas. Anyone?

Best games that use the SNES mouse.
Best SNES peripherals
Best arcade ports
Best licensed games
And there are always more genre lists to do, like the SHMUPs one you did.

The shmups one was convenient because there were only about 30 games to cover. For beat-em-up and fighting games, there's like 60+ of each if you include Super Famicom. Not saying I won't do them but that's like a 20 minute video which is a shit-ton of work.
Re: SNESdrunk reviews
You could focus only on domestics or imports, which will cut down on a bunch, though not entirely. There are also a ton of genres that don't get covered much, like edutainment, game shows, traditional games, etc. And you could also do a series breakdown if it had a lot of entries on the console, like comparisons of the four Mortal Kombat games or all of the Super Bombermans.SNESdrunk wrote:Thanks! Best? I would just go for ALL since the list is so short anyway.Ack wrote: Best games that use the SNES mouse.

Could potentially, yeah, but a "best" (read: worth checking out) list would be...
Arkanoid: Doh it Again
Mario no Super Picross
Mario Paint
Mario & Wario
Nobunaga's Ambition
Pieces
Shien's Revenge
T2 The Arcade Game
Tin Star
Troddlers
That's a decent list of 10 with some variety
