I have played Mario 1 where Mario was about three feet tall in a movie theater. As an avid projector gamer I will say that most games do not translate well to playing on screens bigger than 100inches (or even up to that size). Mostly because you have to move your head so much to see the whole screen.graffix_13 wrote:LOL! Althought now I'm dreaming of living in a football stadium playing my consoles....How bad ass would THAT be!?!

Hearing the end of May now for release. With all the delays, who the hell knows.
Re: WELL THIS IS INTERESTING.. Retron 5
A game store in Sweden got a few units -- and they seem to like it so far.
There is hope after all.

Hyperkin's product developer put out a video explaining a few reasons for the latest delay, but nothing about when we're getting it or why the price increased --

So the latest (according to that neoGAF thread) is that they first shipments are currently on a boat coming from China. Apparently it was held up in customs because "they had never seen a system like the RetroN 5" before. Huh. I'm sure they have seen their fair share of clone systems.
Re: WELL THIS IS INTERESTING.. Retron 5
Heh yeah....I think I saw someone post a vid or pic of a clone playstation and wii system(and actually bought it from what I recall....sad how often it happens
)....but it's not much previous clone systems to be honest....

That story sounds kind of half-baked to me. Hopefully all is well with the new batch and there won't be any more setbacks.graffix_13 wrote:So the latest (according to that neoGAF thread) is that they first shipments are currently on a boat coming from China. Yeah, I was thinking the same thing.

It sounds exaggerated. It is likely they got stuck at customs, but they decided to spin it to hopefully generate press.
