Not without some major modifications made to the sticks outer casing and even then its would still prove difficult. That Topmax is pretty terrible. I have or had one recently. Didnt like it one bit. Glad I got it for free.

Mine absolutely sucks. I wanted to play dreamcast for thanksgiving week since it's my only retro console left and sure enough on my luck since I sold off my wii and ps2 collection, my dreamcast won't load or my vga cord is working. I opened it up to calibrate my laser and the ribbon is torn inside and its a mess inside. Sure enough no dreamcast. I don't know if it's a sign from god to tell me tg rid of it but I'm not. I will just wait till after Christmas to get a new one. Unless someone has one for free for me  ? Unlikely

If it's any consolation, mas, you might be lucky and get the same sort of deal I got.

I bought a "back-up" Dreamcast console listed on ebay with controllers and cables, but no TV-lead. Because of this it was listed as spare or repair - not working. So I got the whole bundle for 99p (and £10 postage!) and as soon as I hooked it all up with my spare composite lead, it works perfectly. It's also the quietest DC console I've ever heard! :)

Keep an eye out for "broken" bundles and ask why it's listed as such. You might get a break.

Hooked up the DC today. Thought I'd get reacquainted with the console as Phantasy Star Online will be our Together Retro game in a little over a month. Might try the Evolution dungeon crawlers when I'm done.

What's Sonic Adventure like anyway? Is it more of an "adventure" game than a simple platformer? How long of a game am I looking at?

Not a terribly long game, it's pretty much just a 3D platformer though. I'd say it's worth a play-through. Chao garden is a fun distraction.

Jeez, you weren't joking. I'm still waiting! I'm in Europe, so it should take just under a week to arrive. Oh well, I'll give it two more days and then I'll email them. I hear they rarely respond mind (and when they do, it takes ages), but I'll give it a try.

I picked up my first Dreamcast purchase in quite a while recently - Bangai -O.

I love me some Treasure, but I think I might have been spoiled on this one by the sequel, Bangai -O Spirits for DS, which is a lot more chaotic fun.

One of the few Dreamcast games left on my wishlist. It looks like a blast!

Only in retrospect do I realize that Vigilante 8 is obviously Activision's answer to SONY's Twisted Metal series on Playstation. Why didn't I see that as a fourteen-year-old?

I'm really not sure. It's as plain as day, to me. And I thought the Vigilante 8 games were better back then.
