Yeah, it violates this rule:
Please keep signatures to less than four lines of text (at 1024 resolution).. If images are used in a signature, they should be smaller than 15KB and no more than 70 pixels high. Only exceptions are common signature banners from services like XBL or PSN.
That rule also grants an exception for PSN/XBL banners, noise, so you can post them without fear of retribution (much like others already do)

except I can't. That image is still deemed too big. The forum software won't allow me to, unless Nick changes the restriction like he was going to the other day until it turned into a big issue. :\

ah - I forgot about that change. I think the size of that banner is fine (and I've seen a few smallish RFGen banners that are also fine) - so maybe a new image size limit would be ok. That banner you posted is pretty reasonable compared to that giant one you had the other day.

I did max out on the text to fit everything. I prefer listing out the systems instead of a row of game console icons. No guessing as to what systems I own this way.
I agree, you should have the option to personalize your signature with the game stats tag. I was just pointing out that it would not mean much if most could not read the text. I see Marvel vs Capcom and can only guess the other two Titles on top. Not worth the trouble zooming in when there are Replies to look at. A shame the bottom icons could not be deleted and the font increased.

the top icons are PSN, the bottom are XBLA. That's why I like it. It has both services combined. I don't care if everyone knows what every game is. For intance, anyone here into shmups instantly recognizes that Radiant Silvergun icon. Each icon will be identifiable to those that are also into the same game. But again, it doesn't really matter if you or someone else doesn't like how its organized. It's a game related signature that I like and would like to be my signature and size-wise I think it's really reasonable.

I like it too - and would even consider using it myself. ESPECIALLY if we can somehow institute the once-per-page signature code...
