Hi,

My wife and I are new to this forum. We are in our late 30s.

We both love retro-gaming, and love all of our old systems
(Atari 2600, TI-99/4A, Tomy Tutor, 3DO, Genesis/Sega CD, Duo-R/PC-Engine, NES, SNES, Saturn, Dreamcast, PS2, and a Gamecube with GBA player)

We play all kinds of games, retro and current,
and have a ps3, Xbox 360 and also a Wii coming in the mail.

We also collect obscure and old back-up devices, though we are just starting with that.

Pretty much we love all games, especially obscure stuff and stuff from Japan.
We play lots of Turn-based and rhythm games, though we also play 3rd person shooters and all kinds of stuff.

(Right now, I'm getting some rhythm games from Japan through a deputy service, a bunch that I've never seen reviews of - we'll see if we can get past the Japanese!!!)

Anyway, if anyone here is in Humboldt (its on the coast and at the very top of the state, about an hour south of Oregon), drop us a line.....

Hey to all the new folk.

You'll find these boards are actually pretty popular and active.
If each mistake being made is a new one, then progress is being made.

G'day everyone,

I've been poking about the site since reading about it in Retro Gamer a month or so ago and decided today to join up to the forums.

I've only very recently started collecting reto games, concentraiting mainly on the Mega Drive but also picking up the odd Dreamcast title as I still have my DC. I've only been going for about three months so far but have already picked up a few nice titles.

I look forward to chatting to everyone on these forums.

Cheers folks.

Hello everyone

I've been lurking a round for some time now and decided it was time to finally register.
I play all genres of games, but I mostly enjoy platformers and and anything will a retro feel.
I currently own a Wii, PS2, Dreamcast, N64, and use a PC for emulation of all retro consoles.
On the handhelds side of things I have a DS, GBA, GBC, and GB.

I think that will do for an intro

Hello,

I started coming here a few months ago when i was at a friends house and he gave me his Sega Saturn and Dreamcast. This place has helped me find some pretty sweet games.

...and nice people. Alot of other sites have good info and the forum is filled with a bunch of people who make fun of you for asking questions or not knowing about a limited edition megadrive Brazillian only release of a certain game being the best port. like, duh! That's one of main reasons I joined up and stayed active. Also, Racket (and friends) puts out some of the better articles I've read on retro games.

Welcome everyone!

Hey,

Really am into retro gaming and noticed this site when I got back to playing N64. Racketboy's posts are top notch and I found alot of gems because of the reviews and comments. Currently play Gameboy, Gameboy Color, SNES, NES, and Neo Geo Pocket Color on my Palm Centro using LJP. Unfortunately cannot get Genesis, or TG16 to run correctly any thoughts? I still own my Palm T|X (which also had Mame on it) and my Zire 71 (hence the username). I have the following systems in a box in my garage...Gameboy Pocket (handful of games), SNES (handful of games) and CDX (loads of cartridges and almost every SegaCD game out).
