Lickle(Samson) is still $100 which isn't bad going against the $500 price tag the elitists and scammers have shoved the US version up to. There's a pretty large spread between other high ball games too like Bonk ($20 vs $300) and Panic Restaurant(Gourmet World) ($50 vs $300.) All those games have little to no story or text at all in them so there's zero loss getting the Japanese game thankfully.

The sad part is people are willing to pay those prices :? As long as it isn't text heavy(until I do finally get around to doing something about learning japanese  ) then I'm alright with going wight eh japanese version. Still crazy what these people shove these prices too

Have you ever noticed how the only people who complain about "elitist" stuff are those who aren't part of the elite?

Naturally. But owning that cart is really only for collecting purposes. As we have discussed ad nauseum, simple economics dictate these prices. The popularity increase in retro game collecting has helped boost prices of games. The game isnt worth that much to me so I simply wont buy it. I dont see any scamming involved.

If being elite is someone willing to blow $500 on a loose video game cart, I guess I'm not, I'm sane. I said what I said because I've lived through it as a kid watching pilfering sacks of shit wreck both baseball cards and comics for me as a kid on a small allowance. More and more shops opened, people started to compete on the local level over the nicer copy, the higher price, then it started to impact shelf pricing on stuff too short of upselling the sticker price of a new Marvel comic. If it's elite to drive out the average buyer who is in it for the medium and not the prestige, then the elite are the scamming assholes I said they were because they're creating the predatory market of jamming up prices because they can find more suckers to fleece enough to sustain it while driving many more away. Eventually it always will hit a peak and then fracture but only after a wrecking balls worth of damage is left behind. My point is don't feed the beast, it's fat enough already.

And dude really mocking my post, you sound like some NintendoAge uppity asshole making a post like that and I'm glad to be distanced from that aggravating trash.

How dare people have the audacity to sell things for what other people will pay for them.

Take a chill pill.

Then you sound like some whiney collector who complains about the prices of a very small percentage of games when the vast majority of games are very affordable and some of the cheapest entertain bang for your buck.

Maybe you get kicked off boards for coming in and calling other members uppity assholes...

Objects cost whatever price people are willing to pay for them. If a loose cart can sell for $500, because people are willing to pay that, then that is how much it costs and that is fair enough. It's nothing to do with scammers. It's just how basic economics work. Supply and demand and all that.
