WWE is heavily pushing the best women's division in wrestling verbiage now, particularly in regards to NXT. They just had yet another woman debut there who looks to be getting a push, in addition to Giulia and Stephanie Vaquer (who pinned the champ Roxanne Perez in a tag team match on Halloween Havoc). They are serious about this, the women's division on NXT is stacked. They even had Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan make an appearance tonight on NXT to further their main roster feud going into Crown Jewel. Jordynne Grace was on the show too. Roxanne Perez has multiple bulls eyes on her right now. I'm not sure if Giulia is still the long term plan to get the belt off of her. I think Stephanie Vaquer is turning heads now

It really highlights how far AEW/ROH has to go in this area.

Wasn't impressed with Dynamite, but Cassidy and Hangman elevated that show with their promos.

I don't want to minimalize Cassidy, who had the crowd hanging on his every word, but Hangman's promo was fucking amazing. I actually feel like he's carrying this feud with Jay White

Anyway, ROH seems to be close to a TV deal. This means Tony Kahn will actually be running two brands, on TV, just like Raw and Smackdown

There's always a debate about whether or not incorporating the two is a good idea, but it becomes a bit more justifiable if both of them are on TV.

If ROH gets on television, then I think they need to keep the rosters and their titles entirely separate other than the odd occasional exceptions when crossovers might be warranted. The inclusion of ROH titles on AEW television and having AEW talent hold them has been confusing in my opinion.

Then again, they just had Jericho win the ROH World title again and the rumour is the choice was made because they wanted a big name to help get a tv deal, so who knows if anything will change in that regard?

So WWE told us this weekend that Cody is better than everyone, including Raw champion Gunther, and that Saudi Arabia is the greatest place ever and everyone should move there...especially women

Oh, and Roman Reigns is a loser who got pinned by a mid carder. Even he doesn't get protected anymore while Cody continues to get treated like he is God.

AEW and NJPW are starting to build matches for their Wrestle Kingdom crossover PPV happening in Japan in January.

Ricochet showed up in Japan and I believe will be facing Zack Sabre Jr. Kenny Omega will also be making his return to wrestling with plans of him wrestling at the event.

I actually thought Dynamite was pretty good. Not great, but good and a step above recent episodes. We finally saw the Elite storyline finally come to an end (thank God!), we got the debut of Bobby Ashley for the show's conclusion, after a great main event between Swerve and Shelton. Hangman delivered a great promo - I am really looking forward to his match against Jay White at Full Gear. Cassidy also delivered a good promo and I am all for seeing him being the one to defeat the new BCC and finally win the world title. Moxley has always been a great antagonist for him, despite there being iffyness with this BCC storyline (as is often the case with AEW, their stories fall apart once they fail to elaborate on the motivations of their antagonists and building a compelling narrative around them and the protagonists that attempt to take them on).

The Learning Tree has run its course. I am so over seeing Jericho every week. The joke was funny for a while. Now it isn't. Just have Big Bill turn on Jericho, destroy him and 'write him off tv' for a few months. Or have Samoa Joe come back and have his revenge and do it.

You know, the recent comments by Mercedes got me thinking

What if AEW split up it's men's and women's divisions? Ditch Rampage, and make Collision into a two hour women's only show with the women's title, the TBS title, a women's tag title, and an international title.

Dynamite becomes the men's only show on Wednesdays.

ROH is its own thing.

All three shows should have separate booking and creative teams, with Tony Kahn overseeing them all. They should have separate pay per views as well. I would enjoy seeing the women in AEW get their own branding with their own show and their own pay per views. Some people say women's wrestling doesn't draw. I think anything draws if you put enough effort into it.

Forbidden Door is the only time ROH and AEW interact, and the only time we see wrestlers from NJPW/Stardom and possibly some other promotions as well. Forbidden Door matches should be planned out MONTHS in advance with seeds for them planted on TV long before anyone is even thinking about the pay per view. Every Forbidden Door match should be presented like an actual dream match or at the very least something that has been hinted at or built up throughout the year. Forbidden Door should always be presented as a major event, not an afterthought rushed together in a few weeks. It should be presented as one of AEW's marquee pay per views. Only on Forbidden Door do we see the Casino Gauntlet match for a contract to face the AEW world champion and anyone from any company can be in the match. Also, titles need to change hands from time to time on Forbidden Door like an AEW wrestler getting a New Japan title or a Japanese wrestler winning an AEW title. Only when that happens do we see wrestlers from AEW who are not international champions wrestling elsewhere outside of the Forbidden Door event, and vice versa with non-AEW wrestlers.

The international champions can wrestle any where, at any time. For them, it's always Forbidden Door season. They represent the global face of AEW.

That weird title that Okada has should be retired. Drop the FTW title as well and retire the trios title. There are too many belts in AEW.

Ditch the stupid MJF ring.

Every one of Tony Kahn's shows needs an impartial authority figure to maintain some sense of order. Someone who is not a face or a heel, just a person who tries to enforce rules and make matches. They are doing their job and they do not pick sides.
