Ugh, that's a disappointment. Oh well, I still needed to make room for the 200+ hours of Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate I'll be playing  .

I'll see you on the playground.

Do stores reserves any machines for walk-in purchases or will it be impossible to get one with the pre-orders all sold out?

Tank Tank Tank looks like a blast. I wonder though, it is put out by Bandai. They have the Godzilla license. It would be cool to see a 'zilla game in this manner. Or any fun 'zilla game.

Or, eh, their license might just be for the figures I guess.

King of Monsters 1 & 2. Not officially Godzilla, but close enough.

I'm in the same boat as you.. Although maybe it's a blessing in disguise that I won't be able to purchase this year.. I like the possible library with games such as DQ X releasing next year, and to be honest I could care less about the graphics.. Hell, I've had a subpar PC for years and still enjoyed what I could on it.. I'm just not sure the Wii-U will achieve that much success, but we shall see. I'm not sure it will explode in popularity like the Wii did last gen.. And who knows if the NextBox or Ps4 are even launched as mainly consoles with the way media is going.. One thing is for sure, the Wii U should have solid 1st party titles and Virtual Console is always welcomed so that is probably enough for me to keep my interest up.. Hopefully the good Wii and Gamecube games are more available on VC for this thing.. Maybe even an upscaled Maramusa and/or Tatsunoko vs Capcom?

Well apparently Walmart will have in-store pre-orders on the 14th so I guess that is what I will do. It is for the Wii U Deluxe Bundle. $400 for your choice of system, one game and either the new pro controller or a Wiimote+. Pretty good deal since that would run you $460 separately I believe. I'll grab the black system, Mario Bros U and the pro controller.

Hmm. Actually I guess it might not be the bundle they are doing in store but just the console.
