New Members: Introduce Yourself!

Talk about just about anything else that is non-gaming here, but keep it clean

Hi!!! I just made an account, but I've been watching the site recently. I live in an island called Singapore. Looking forward to buying, selling, and trading with you guys.
Today's processors have increased in speed so rapidly. Unfortunately, humans finger speed has not! ImageSpeed is nice, yes, but at a price.

Hey,
just registered.

Love classic gaming,
Truly believe in story and game play over pretty graphics.
That more buttons doesn't always mean better game play.
That to consider your self a gamer you must respect gaming roots
and that kids are too spoiled now a days. :)

I just realized I never posted an introduction here...

My name is Caleb and I am an employed librarian from Northeaster NY state.

I write for the Dreamcast Junkyard and Saturn Junkyard blogs.

I like doing stupid media projects.

I guess I might as well introduce myself as it looks like I'll probably be sticking around, even tho no one answered the one question I signed up on here for. But I guess no one has the Game Genie codes to bypass the region lockout in Dragon Slayer I & II, even tho you guys came highly recommended. "Those guys at the racketboy forums will know. They know everything!" What a rip.

But seriously, my name's bill, tho I go by mobiusclimber pretty much everywhere. Even tho it might sound like a semi-intellectual type user name, it actually came about because I couldn't remember the name of one of the animes that was cannibalized to make Robotech (Genesis Climber Mospeada, not Mobius Climber Genesis as I'd thought). Um, I'm over 30, married, live in Seattle, work full time, sell games on the side and collect them as a hobby... Well, I only collect games I plan on playing. The only exceptions to this rule lately have been the purchase of a FF2 Wonder Swan Color set (tho I have gotten more WS/WSC games, so I'll probably give it a go at some point) and a couple of the Square Millennium box sets. (why play BFM in Japanese when I can play it in English? Why play Saga Frontier... at all?) I have been trying to bluff my way through Japanese games for awhile now, but I plan on learning Japanese at some point (hopefully by osmosis, but I doubt it).

Other than that, I'm working towards opening a game store on the ave (anyone here from Seattle knows exactly WHICH ave I'm referring to) and possibly a pizza place. Can't say any more on the last one, don't want anyone stealing the idea. *cough*
I have a ton of games listed at my store's site: Super Smash Video Games

Hey, my name is Radek, I'm 28, live in NYC, work full time and play console and computer games as much as I can.

I found out about racketBOY while searching for some info on DC's Jet Grind Radio and Saturn modding. I joined forum recently to participate in JGR "together retro" and finally finish this excellent game but it seems that I'll a bit longer than that ;).

Aside from that I'm a fan of Sega's DC and Saturn, own Xbox, two current gen consoles and PS2 and i love Elevator Action Returns.
