It'll be another night of hanging out on Racketboy for me. Might try to go to sleep early. There's a big community yard sale type thing going on tomorrow that I'm gonna go to. Wish me luck.

Maybe go to the bookstore or something. Don't really know. Despite my complaining, there actually isn't a lot to do thanks to the weather. Honestly though, just going for a drive would probably make me feel a lot better.

I hope you find some cool stuff at the yard sale.

Man, rebuilding a collection is far more frustrating than simply building one from scratch.

Finding that everything you used to own now goes for way higher prices than you originally paid for them... fucking annoying.

That's how it seems, anyway. We tend to forget about the games we bought new at full price which are now less than $10.

I know that, but used prices on old stuff have shot through the roof. I bought most of my stuff used.

Basically to rebuild the better parts of my collection I'm going to probably end up having to spend nearly twice as much as I did the first time around.

I agree. It's interesting. The point of these lists tho, as they were a few months back when they were all the rage (and I guess every several months, as history is quasi-cyclical), is to point out new things to people who already like topic X, or in the case of the genderless one, to really see what other people see in games.

So about 11-12 years ago I spent several months making an album, giving copies to a few friends, and then doing nothing else with it. It never went up on the web, and I never got any feedback except from 2-3 friends I gave a copy too - they all seemed to like it.

I stumbled across the physical copy of the CD today while doing some other stuff, and thought I'd see what y'all think of it just for shits and giggles. The name of the album is "A" and the name of the "band" is "Fraggin' Newbies"
