Decided to pick up a Vita early since Amazon and Target were offering a free 4GB memory card with purchase of the WI-FI model this week.

Took advantage of Best Buy's 40% trade in towards Vita games. They also price matched Target's B2G1 free deal too so that was a plus. Picked up Uncharted, Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3, Hot Shot Golf, and Rayman: Origins. I haven't opened up the Vita yet cause I've been swamped with Homework so probably won't get to that until the weekend. :|

Got my Vita. Still waiting for my Amazon games to come in, so I've just been playing demos and I downloaded NeoGeo Heroes for it, since that's a PSP game I always wanted to play.

Gotta say, I do enjoy it. I love the form factor. I do hate how close the d-pad is placed in relation to the left analog stick (can't press down or right without your thumb bumping into the stick) but I'll just use the analog stick anyway.

The menu is kinda weird, though. Hopefully, they allow for some customization later on - I would like to just have an XMB, as well as the ability to customize the background music.

I am looking to get more PSP games for it, though. I found a handy list that you guys might benefit from as well.

Ordered my PS Vita yesterday along with Rayman Origins, Touch my Katamari, and Lumines. :D

Can't wait until Gravity Daze is released here. The demo was great.

Looks like they are off to a decent start, sales-wise: http://techland.time.com/2012/02/28/son ... ames-sold/

I must say, this is a better reception than I expected, and hope it bodes well for future software development.

Nice to see it's doing OK. As much of a Nintendo man as I am, I like having other portables around too. The final point on that article about the iOS and Android sales is kinda misleading though. To me it's akin to saying: "The Nintendo Wii may have sold 80 million units, but just look how many PCs and Macintosh's have been sold! It makes Nintendo's product look dead in the water!"

Good to see it's not a flop. :)

I've been thinking though... Sony's strategy and focus for the Vita is exactly that of what the original PSP was. I wonder if this will cause it to have a relatively short life as it did with the PSP here in America. I know the original PSP still sells like hotcakes in Japan though.

I'll likely pick up a Vita towards the end of the year. I don't really expect a price drop (who knows though?) but I'm hoping for a software library that I'm more interested in. Right now Wipeout 2048 is the only game that makes me feel like a need a Vita. I also just plain don't have the money right now.

My Vita is arriving today via Amazon + USPS, but my games are not.

I used the buy 2 get 1 on BestBuy's website. They shipped via Streamlite?? I've never heard of them before.

Perhaps I'll download a PSN only game or two for now if they're cheap enough.

I've been playing a lot of Tales from Space: Mutant Blobs Attack. For $8 on PSN I don't think I could ask for more. This game is awesome. Great platformer with mild puzzle elements and a great sense of humor. Highly recommended!
