i think Harmful Park might be my rarest, but not my most expensive. it depends how rare things like Little Samson, Bubble Bobble Part 2, Nightmare in the Dark (MVS Cart), and Progear (CPS2 Board) are. i just know they cost me a pretty penny, i dunno anything about how hard they are to come by. i think Nightmare in the Dark is the only one that had me really looking for a full kit.

Where'd you get Nightmare in the Dark? That's one of the MVS games that I'm looking out for but can't find.

I'd also love to find a copy of Captain Tomaday.

i lucked out on finding somebody on eBay selling the full US kit for $125. an absolutely insane steal.

i also need to get Tomaday. the guys at neostore.com have one in stock for a fairly usual asking price, and their stuff is all in amazing condition (i got my Waku Waku 7 mvs from them). http://www.neostore.com/Captain-Tomaday ... -p/770.htm $159, worth it as far as i'm concerned! an unsung classic.

That's a really good deal for Nightmare in the Dark, especially considering it's the full kit. Full kits for rare MVS games will bring a larger premium than customary.

Sweet. I didn't bother looking at NeoStore, probably because I've looked at their AES catalog and thought everything was a bit overpriced.

I did snag a US copy of SVC Chaos from them though...

it tends to be that way. i've never wanted to get in on the AES market due to pricing, so in my course of neo-geo collecting i've gone through an AES with MVS converter before eventually getting a supergun for arcade boards and just getting the damn arcade mobo. it's so much better, hahaha.

True enough. Before I got into AES collecting, I thought collecting Saturn was expensive... but now that I've got a new perspective, AES is my new benchmark for expense.

I really should have said "overpriced, even by AES standards." For example, look at Baseball Stars 2. It's $250 at the NeoStore, but the market (completed ebay auctions) sets the price at around $80-$90.

yeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh!

I just learned by reading about this one http://www.hardcoregaming101.net/asterix/asterix2.htm and here http://www.atariage.com/software_page.html?SoftwareID=3325

that my copy of Asterix for atari 2600 is a really rare game!

I dont know where I picked it up, but I own a copy!

I doubt I paid more than five for it cause I never pay more than five dollars for a 2600 game!

Imma gonna keep an eye out for this one now, in case I find another!
