It was one of the lamest cheeseball movies I've ever seen, but it was lame in a good way.

I don't think it's particularly lame at all. It's definitely the best piece of live-action Turtle media. It does suffer a little bit, being a product of the 80's, but most films of that era do (notable exception: The Princess Bride).

The rap song during the credits seemed to have an error though. It said Raphael was the leader, when Leonardo was. What's up with that? Didn't the rapper watch the movie?

The rapper was M.C. Hammer. IIRC, there isn't really anything in the film to clearly establish Leonardo as the leader. There is a brief exchange between Raphael and Leonardo on the topic, but it consists of Raphael sarcastically calling him "our great leader" and his denial of being "your great leader." I recall arguing over Leonardo's inflection with several friends of mine. It's probably the most important argument in which I've ever been involved.

rocky II, III, and IV.

prior to this i have never seen a rocky. i saw bits and pieces here and there, but i never had a desire to sit down and watch one from being to end. AMC was airing all of them this week and decided to give them a whirl.

i think i would have enjoyed them much more if i would have gave myself a break between sequels. the standard rocky formula - rocky retires, rocky comes back, adrian doesn't like it, rocky tells adrian he was born to fight, training montage, rocky boxes without any defense and gets rocked, rocky comes back and wins - got VERY repetitive.

my most memorable scene is in part II when adrian wakes up in the hospital and tells rocky to WIN! mickey then chimes in and says "WHAT ARE WE WAITING FOR" and the training montage begins.

i have IV taped but still haven't watched it yet.

I'd never seen any TMNT stuff until this movie, and I could tell he was the leader. He just seemed to be the one who everyone kinda followed.

Dear God, please watch the original Rocky.. You cannot fully appreciate the entire series of films if you don't appreciate the first for what it was back in '76...

It would be like playing Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, and A Link to the Past without ever having played the original Legend of Zelda on NES...

I watched Caroline the second times yesterday,I admire the film mostly because it is good to look at. Selick is as unconventional in his imagery as Gaiman is in his writing, and this is a movie for people who know and care about drawing, caricature, grotesquerie and the far shores of storytelling. In short, you might care little about a fantasy, little indeed about this story, and still admire the artistry of it all, including an insidious score by Bruno Coulais, which doesn't pound at us like many horror scores, but gets under our psychic fingernails.

I watched Caroline the second times yesterday,I admire the film mostly because it is good to look at.
