^That's how I first read your post.

I wish I could help (not with the ass fucking) but I've never had save issues with the 360. Surely you'll get an answer soon from a rb member.

Sorry to hear that man. I had the same issue with ME1 > ME2. My save was just gone. Have you had more than one 360? Maybe it's on another hard drive?

On the PC there is a site called http://masseffectsaves.com/ that is useful for this sort of thing, but I don't think there is any utility to help in the 360 department. You don't happen to have this in your Steam library do you?

Nope, no help on either of those fronts. I think I'll just accept my loss, watch some videos about The Arrival DLC, and hope that ME3 at least lets me tweak a few things at setup so that I have some of the same team and choices that I did at the end of ME1 and ME2. It sucks, but I'd rather play ME3 next week than sink 40+ hours into ME2 all over again.

Does anyone know how ME3's start will be handled? Can you import someone from ME1 and not ME2? Can you set up past choices like you could in the PS3 version of ME2? Any ideas?

According to this interview:
Digitalspy.com wrote:You can't talk specifics about the choices you've made previously and how they effect Mass Effect 3, but are those choices amplified because there's this end game, and the stakes are higher?
"So we took two approaches from the very beginning. So to directly answer the question: yes, the stakes that have happened in the past do have a direct and real implication on how Mass Effect turns out. But, at the same time, for new players and players that maybe aren't happy with the choices they made in the past, we didn't want to punish.

"There's another way of playing where if you don't import a save or are new to the franchise, you can essentially gleen and understand additional back-story items from different dialogue options, because it's changed on whether you've imported something or not. If you haven't, things are a bit more explanatory, things are a bit more general. But if you have, then of course, you will pay the price for the decisions that you've made, or you'll benefit from the decisions you've made."
It's a little vague, but it seems like there will be something for you there.

First off, glad to hear you survived the incident and were polite enough to help with getting the sofa out of the road.

But, does "junker" mean you dumpster dive, or is that a term for people who go to thrift shops/garage sales/etc.?

Smile: The weather. Simply gorgeous outside, perfect outdoor activity weather.

Frown: My local disc golf course was replaced with a softball stadium.
Well, I don't really dumpster dive, but I collect "junk" and I turn into $$$. I've been at a loss as to accurately describe what I do in my off time, that's the term I came up with. I search garage sales, thrift stores, free pages, ends of driveways, schmooze with people, talk to family, for anything they consider disposable or unwanted an find a way to turn that into profit. I mean ANYTHING. I've sold on craigslist, ebay, garage sales. I did once find an entire dumpers FULL of LPs; yes I dumpster dove for that. Right now, I'm accumulating metals and appliances for scrapping. There is a spot in town where everyone dumps old wheels and the like. Turns out no one ever takes the tire off the rim . I'm waiting to hear back from city hall about them covering the recycling fees for the tires. I get the metal, they get a clean property for minimal fee and no effort on their part.

Long story short or if you skipped all that: I take anything I can and make it into $.

I love scrapping metal. Fun as hell.

Dumpster diving. Hmm. I've always wanted to try it at the end of the spring semester at a college- you can find amazing things in dumpsters at that time. (14 free computers? Yes please. Oh, I'll take that PS3 too!)

I need someone to go with though for help.

Primarily a solid reason not to go dumpster diving. Although I hear you can find neat things, I really don't see a reason. Most people around here just drag stuff to the curb and be done with it. Kind of the universal, "Take it, I don't want it" Got a swanky weed whip and handy lawn equipment that way.

I suddenly had a mental image of Forlorn Drifter completely trapped in a dumpster and freaking out random passersby as he asks for help......

Wouldn't go so far as ticked, but worked a 24hr shift to assist in a winter storm and then arrived home to shovel out the drive for 4 hours (snowblower wouldn't start up of course).

Only about 14" which really isn't a big deal usually, but the 50mph winds have made keeping it clear darn near impossible.

Things have settled down this evening, so i'm now in good shape to get out for work tomorrow moring.
