With a shitload of aim-assist sure.
I use a controller daily as well as a mouse and keyboard. The average keyboard and mouse player can still wreck a great controller player. It's that simple.
Pretty sure this has been discussed to death though.
I'm mostly referring to games that aren't FPS's, although I do know of a person who uses a specialized controller who can play TF2 pretty damn well. I also have found using a controller to work really well on Chivalry, depending on the weapons.
I don't know if this is the right thread to post this but I went through all of my gaming post in the past and my only thought was what the Fuck was I thinking since 2010. Damn something was wrong with me. Idiot. I'm glad I'm done collecting and hoarding.
I'm terrible with a mouse and keyboard for first person shooters. I've been playing battlefield 4 and I've just been terrible, I mean I can out flank entire teams cap points and take out vehicles but a one on one between me and another player on foot I'm done for. I have been playing Serious Sam 3 to try and get my twitch shooting skills up and after a couple hours of it I started to definitely notice some improvements.
So I've been playing Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward. I'm in the final room I need to escape.
I just spent an embarrassingly long amount of time trying to get ONE FRIGGIN DIE to get into the correct position but it keeps ending up OFF BY ONE SIDE. I HAVEN'T EVEN SOLVED IT YET. BLAAARGH.
