Perhaps? The only game forum I hang out on is this one, where Undertale - a game with a clear retro aesthetic - doesn't even have a dedicated thread.

Anyway, here's an interesting article I stumbled upon the other day about the game's progressivism.

Hey I played gone home last year and I loved it. My live for it hasn't dwindled over time. The argument that people will eventually stop talking about it can be said for any game.

Stop the hate, because it isn't necessary. You are spending precious time and energy to crap on things. Why?

Hooray, another place on the forum I'm not going to. This is fun.

Nobody is "spouting bile" or spending energy "to crap" on anything much less saying that if you like a game you are an "idiotic, brainless moron". That's on you, guys.

Which brings me to an actual "Unpopular gaming opinion" which is that that this position is every bit as elitist, if not more than actually disliking games. People are not required to "stop the hate" anymore than someone is required to "stop the love". We are free to have our opinions on a game irrespective of which game it is.

I guess not. They're too busy calling me an elitist.

Sounds like more of it is ok to dislike things I dislike until you dislike something I like.

Oh, c'mon, don't throw the stone and then play the victim, that's childish.

You don't see an irony that you've had to edit the word 'don't' out of that picture? It works both ways.
